Wales, Golf, Madrid

Gareth Bale just announced his retirement from football today. After playing 664 games, scoring 226 goals, winning a career total of 22 trophies and 5 Champions League wins, Gareth Bale surely retires as one of the all time greatest Club football player.

His last few years saw him focus increasingly on Wales while having lesser impact while playing for club.

He was instrumental in the campaign that led Real Madrid to the Decima. The bicycle kick against Liverpool is one of the Champions Leagues all time great goals. And poor Marc Bartra got etched in folklore as Bale outran him and the length the pitch to score against Barcelona in the Copa Del Rey.

I'm sure people all over the world wish him well and we hope he plays all the Golf in the world.

La Liga has outdone themselves with technology yet again.

Xavi appeared in a post match analysis in a hologram format, unlike anything we've ever seen before. La Liga coverage has taken a lot of artistic creativity with different camera angles, blur focus, replays, statistic and many more.

Some will call it a gimmick some will think its extremely cool! But no one can question the out of the box thinking on display here.
